Will sending DMs get my Instagram account restricted?

Does it message creators without my approval?
No. Outreach is opt-in, the template is yours, and messages are yours to approve. The negotiation assistance drafts replies; it does not send them on its own.
How is this different from an influencer marketplace?
A marketplace lists creators who registered and takes a commission. This searches Instagram itself, so you reach creators who never listed themselves and pay no markup — but you do the outreach and the negotiation.
Can it tell me whether followers are real?
Engagement relative to follower count is surfaced, which catches obviously inflated accounts. It is a signal rather than a verdict, and sophisticated fakes will pass it.
Do I need an Instagram Business account?
For comment handling on your own posts, yes — that runs through the Graph API, which requires a Business or Creator account. Discovery and list-building do not.
Does it publish or send anything without my approval?
